Tomorrow is a New Year

It is a New Year tomorrow in Bangladesh.

Many people will celebrate the beginning of the New Year.

So, I have bought a cloth for my friend today. She has also bought a shirt for me.

We have seen a lot of customers at shop, and I was afraid whether somebody might attack the spot by bombing.

I know that many of Bangladeshis are nice and peaceful Muslim.

They never use violence on other people including foreigners like us.

You can see two of nice and peaceful Muslim on the photographs.

However, some of religious extremists have possibility to do that, and some of Bangladeshis are the religious extremists.

Religious extremism is one of the most important issues all over the world now.

It is not only in this country.

Bangladeshi people might think that Islamic culture is very peaceful, but they have no way to tell it to non-Muslim like us because non-Muslim often put religious extremists and other general Muslim in the same class.

Anyway, tomorrow is the New Year.

Tomorrow is another day………….

Rich and Poor

Poor people of this country are poorer than those of my country.

But rich people of this country are richer than those of my country.

This is partly because income inequality has existed in Bangladesh.

The foreigners who live out of Bangladesh might easily understand the situation of poor people in the country through internet, the activity of NGOs, research and so on. But they can not understand the existence of rich people because of information shortage about them. They should know the reality.

I like the culture of poor people.

So I usually go to office by rikshaw, not by car.

So I usually eat Bangladeshi food, not foreign ones.

So, as an Asian foreigner, I have studied not only English but also Bangla.
