An upset is entirely possible here as the Jets have played some of their worst games over the last few years in Buffalo. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS ( 13.5) VS. Carolina Panthers: At this point you really cant argue ever betting on the Panthers as currently constructed with rookie QB Jimmy Clausen at the controls. Carolina just cant score and the Saints are an offense that is ready to just go off at any moment. The line is high but this is an offense that can cover that number in a quarter, let along a whole game. PICK: New Orleans Saints ( 13.5)

ATLANTA FALCONS ( 7) VS. San Francisco 49ers: The Falcons do their best work at home and the face a miserable 49ers team that has failed to live up to the promise they were expected to show. The caveat here is the fact that the 49ers brought in a new offensive coordinator and that figures to supply a boost to a group of skill position players that on paper have loads of talent. PICK: San Francisco 49ers (+7)

Charlie Batch gets the last start before Ben Roethlisberger gets back and they go up against a bitter rival in Baltimore that looked to get their offense on track last week. Tough to bet against the Steelers but the Ravens are going to be out for blood and the Baltimore defense is much stiffer than the Tampa Bay unit Batch schooled last week.
