this first question.
"What is the meaning of your name?"
(My first reaction would be do they really ask that?!) ... well my parents told me they didn't think about the meaning of my name, but care more about the sound and how characters for that sound look great when they are put together. But the literal meaning of my name is watery and silky.
So here is the second.
"Does your name affect your personality?"
I guess it is affecting my personality, since my name is a little different from ordinary Japanese girls' names; it is an English name with a different use of the letters and it makes me feel like I live or should live an international life. And here I am taking the English test.
"Tell me something about your hometown."
My hometown is one of the most popular places for sightseeing in the city. I love the scenery of the mountain whose color changes beautifully especially in the fall, with the yellow and red leaves. The traffic gets crazy because of tourists coming from other prefectures but aside that, I always love my hometown.
