The Dragon Boat Festival

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival. It's to celebrate

the memory of a famous Chinese poet. It's one of

major holiday in Taiwan.

Today, I've watched the dragon boat races. It's first time

for me !

Participants are not only Taiwanes also foreign country

people, for example, working in Taiwan, studying Chinese,

and so on..

So it's international boat festival, It's great !!

I wish attend it, if I have a chance..

For reference, Taiwanese usually eat rice dumpling on this holiday.

It's famous Chinese culture, too !

Hot spring in Taiwan -- Guan Zi Ling--

Last week, I went to the hot spring in Tainan Pref.

The name is Guan Zi Ling.(http://tongmao.network.com.tw/ )

It is remarkable here's hot water is muddy one !!

I've heard that kind of spa is only 3 places in the world !!

In Taiwan, there are a lot of spa, we can enjoy it. but basically

we have to wear a swimwear and a cap when we take a bath.

For me it's not comfortable..

At this time, in the outdoor spa we also have to wear it, but in

the indoor spa we don't need wear it. So, I choiced the indoor only.

About the mud water, it is lighter than I thought, but it is very good

for the skin. I want to go again !!

Birthday cake

Yesterday was my birthday.

Because I had a business trip to Taichung, I had stayed

in Taichung Sprendor Hotel.

When I checked in hotel, one of reception clerk said to me

looking at the registration form, " Wow, today is your birthday !!

Congratulation !!" "Thank you." I answered.

It was very short conversation, but It is enough to make me happy.

After dinner with my boss, when I came back to the hotel, I was surprised !!

The whole cake was on the table !!

I am very glad that. I'd like to express to the hotel's people my deepest

gratitude !!

However, it is difficult for me to eat all... How do I treat ?
