The Skinny on Smalls Monkey is a animated film for the ages, and also the voice of Monkey is Mr. Mike Myers. Within this picture, he plays the part of Le Chiffon the Skinny. A washed-up expert cartoon artist, he works at a local candy store (his title is Lemonades) and is the butt of several jokes in the movie. There is a second where he sells an idea to a large company, along with his boss tries to send him away to Europe to train monkeys.

I'll admit, I was giggling my way through the entire movie (although my kids were not, so be warned). The storyline and slapstick humor is equally entertaining but not as funny as the animation. The story follows Le Chiffon because he attempts to receive his older ideas back on track while struggling to pay rent. On the way, he experiences other monkeys which are more interested in getting their claws on some of the store merchandise than simply helping out the poor Smalls. Every one these characters are drawn with good animation and also have good voices to match. A number of them also do voice overs!

The animation itself might not be perfect, but it's a lot better than many animated movies. The animation in the film is well done and fits the style of the movie quite well skinsmonkey. The only thing which could use improvement is that the strange drawing error that occurs after Le Chiffon gets annoyed off by lemonade. Other than that, this film is quite pleasurable. One of the better animated movies from Disney, this one certainly ranks up there!

I liked watching this film, even though it wasn't the greatest film I'd ever seen. It was not bad, or anything dramatic, but it did not have the over the top special effects I'd hoped for, nor did it possess the unique voice talents of Tim Burton. But , I don't think this is a"Burton" movie, either.

The narrative is short and is easy to follow. The jokes fall flat, but then again, that is to be expected with any film made by Disney. I found it somewhat disconcerting that Le Chiffon only wears a shirt to conceal the burns on his back. Otherwise, they look quite real.

Summary: Cartoon is quite unique in my opinion. The Jungle Book is just another great animated film from Disney, which you ought to see. The movie just hasn't received the same amount of fame as the other animated features in Disney. But then, who actually watches the old Jungle Book? For some folks, it is one of their favorite movies, despite being an animated classic.
