Johnson had a front row seat to the strategies of the drivers as an analyst with ESPN last year."It was a little different last year to do the coverage of it," Johnson said. "It does create some different circumstances and things that we're not used to. To be able to cover it and see the strategies and see how it all played out when I was doing the broadcast. I don't know if I gained anything, any valuable information through that, but it was a different way of looking at the four-wide drag racing for sure."
