ほいで、イエスは目を上げてから、弟子たちを見て言うた。
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said,
貧しいもんは幸いじゃ。
Blessed be ye poor:
神の国はあんたらのもんなんじゃけん。
for yours is the kingdom of God.
今、腹が減っとるもんは幸いじゃ。
Blessed are ye that hunger now:
これからは、あんたら、満たされるんじゃけん。
for ye shall be filled.
今、泣いとるもんは幸いじゃ。
Blessed are ye that weep now:
これからは、あんたら、笑うようになるんじゃけん。
for ye shall laugh.
人々に嫌われるとき、あんたらは幸いじゃ。
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you,
また、人の子のために追い出され、ののしられ、汚名を着せられるとき、あんたらは幸いじゃ。
and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
そんとな日にゃ喜びんさい。飛び跳ねんさい。
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy:
見とりんさい、天にはでかい報いがあるんじゃけん。
for, behold, your reward is great in heaven:
あがあなんらのとうちゃんらも、預言者らにそがあなことをしたんじゃけん。
for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
ほいじゃが、あんたら、恵まれとるもんは不幸じゃのう。
But woe unto you that are rich!
あんたら、もうすでに慰めを受けてしもうたんじゃけん。
for ye have received your consolation.
あんたら、満たされとるもんは不幸じゃのう。
Woe unto you that are full!
あんたら、これから飢えることになるんじゃけん。
for ye shall hunger.
今、笑うとるあんたらは不幸じゃのう。
Woe unto you that laugh now!
あんたら、これから泣き悲しむことになるんじゃけん。
for ye shall mourn and weep.
みんなに褒められるとき、あんたらは不幸じゃ。
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!
あがなんらのとうちゃんらも、偽預言者らに同じことをしたんじゃけん。
for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
