断食するんじゃったら、あんたら、偽善者みとうに沈んだ顔つき、しとっちゃいけんど。
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance:
偽善者っちゅうもんは、断食しとるんを人に見てもらおうとしてから、顔を見苦しゅうするもんなんじゃ。
for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast.
はっきり言うとくど。
Verily I say unto you,
あがあなんらはとっくに報いを受けとるんじゃ。
They have their reward.
ほいじゃが、あんたが断食するんじゃったら、頭に油つけてから、顔を洗いんさい。
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
そらあのう、あんたが断食しよるんを人に気づかれんとから、隠れたところにおられるあんたのとうちゃんに見てもらうためじゃ。
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret:
ほしたら、隠れたことを見とられるあんたのとうちゃんが報いてくださるんじゃ。
and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
