イエスはこがあなたとえを語り終わってから、そこを去ってった。
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.


ほいで、故郷に帰ってきてから、会堂で教えとったら、
And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue,


人々は驚いて、言うたんじゃ。
insomuch that they were astonished, and said,


このひたあこがあな知恵と奇跡をやる力あ、どっから得たんじゃろうか。
Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?


このひたあ大工の息子じゃなあか。
Is not this the carpenter's son?


かあちゃんはマリアじゃし、兄弟はヤコブ、ヨセフ、シモン、ユダじゃなあか。
is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?


姉妹たちゃ皆、わしらと一緒に住んどるじゃなあか。
And his sisters, are they not all with us?


このひたあこがあなもんをみんな、いったいどっから得たんじゃろうか。
Whence then hath this man all these things?


こがあにして、そがあなんらはイエスに躓いてしもうた。
And they were offended in him.


イエスはそがあなんらに言うた。
But Jesus said unto them,


預言者が敬われんなあ、そがあなんの故郷、家族の間だけじゃ。
A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.


ほいで、そがあなんらが信じんもんじゃけん、イエスはそこではそがあに奇跡をされんかった。
And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
