When drawing a picture, I vaguly expect other people to look at it and hope they like it.
But that's a vague expectation.
Actually, it doesn't matter whether they might look at it or not.
What's important to me is that I will be able to look at it again and again in the future, because a picture, once created, will be there all the time.
I have forgotten about this picture, which I drew in 2013, and now the fact that I drew it makes me happy.
