I'm apolitical.
However, since last year September when prime minister Ishiba reshuffled the LDP's internal positions, something has been bothering me.
It was like this, that although Ishiba offered an important position to Ms. 高市, who had made it to the final ranoff, she firmly declined it.
I felt her character, like an unpleasant side of her personality that wouldn't cooperate under Mr. 石破.
In short, I thought she was someone who wasn't willing to cooperate to make Japan better under Ishiba's leadership.
This is just my personal opinion but, in my view, Ms. 高市 should have tried to cooperate and do her best regardless of who the leader was.
When she refuses to work with people she dislikes or shows favoritism toward those who supported her, I couldn't help but question whether that's an adult or responsible attitude.
Then one year after, now LDP elected Ms. Takaichi as new leader. What she has been doing reminds me her behavior of last September.
Anyway, I have two wishes.
1st, I would like to see the government reduce spending, like military expenditure instead of relying solely on government bonds.
2nd, if the abduction issue with North Korea is finally solved, everyone in Japan would be so happy.
Hang in there, Japan Government!
I hope the Japan Government will do its best to make it happen.
