R and L are very important part of the alphabet. Therefore using and pronouncing it is also a vital point on how we say and use a word.

With mispronunciation of these words changes
the meaning of words.

For example:

lice - 虱 rice - 米
light - 光 right - 右
clock - 時計 crack - 割れ目

some people sometimes say
i ate lice - when translated "nomi of tabemashita"
the speaker wanted so say i ate rice "gohan wo
tabemashita" but couldn't pronounce the word properly.

So the point is, we should also practice and give
importance to pronunciation...we can do that by
copying other peoples pronunciation or we can do tongue twisters.

r and l practice

example: i ate rice but its full of lice

pronunciation of letters when interchanged causes strange
misunderstandings.
