I really like watching Japanese movies.
昨日の晩一番の人気な映画を見ていました！たしかみんなもう見ました。
Last night I watched the most popular movie of the year in Japan. I'm sure most of you would have seen it already.
タイトルは「20世紀少年」です！私もう半年くらい前に第1章を見ました。今度は第2章「最後の希望」見ていました。本当に面白いと思います！
The movie title is '20th Century Boys'. I watched the part 1 of this about 6 months ago. This time I watched the 2nd chapter called 'The Last Hope'. I thought it was very interesting!
私は漫画を読みませんでした。そして、ストーリがかなり複雑ですから、ちょっと紛らわしかった。ともだちは誰か、私はわかりません。私は第1章の服部の死が疑うと思います、でもあまり定かではありません。
I haven't read the manga for this movie before. The story is quite complex, so I did get a little confused at times. Still don't know the identity of 'Friend', but I thought Fukube's death in part 1 was quite suspicious.
でも、映画を見たときはパソコンが変になりました。マウスカーソルはともだちの指に変わった！
My computer was acting strange while I was watching this movie. The mouse cursor suddenly became 'Friend's' finger!
ともだちは本当に強力です！
'Friend' must be really powerful..
今、第３章は楽しみにしています！
Now I'm just looking forward to the final part of this movie!

2008 日本語能力試験結果
今日私はちょっとつまらないでしたから、日本語能力試験(JLPT)を考えました。
私は去年シドニーに三級をしました。運良く合格しましたけど、試験がかなり難しかった！
去年の結果はインターネットで見つけました。

2008に、三級は58%の人が合格しました。でも、二級は37%の人が合格しただけ！二級、すごく難しそうです！本当に無理です！！
ロンドンの募集は先週に始まりました。でも、今年二級の試験しますかどうか、まだ決めませんでした。試験すれば、きっと失敗すると思います！百パーセント！

I was a little bored today, so I was thinking a bit about the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
I already did the JLPT Level 3 exam in Sydney last year. Even though I was lucky enough to pass, I still the test quite difficult!
I came across the results data for last years exam on the internet.
In 2008, 58% of people taking the level 3 exam passed. But for level 2, only 37% of people passed! Level 2 seems really difficult, almost impossible!!
Enrolment for this years JLPT exam started last week. I still haven't decided whether I should take the test this year. I think that if I take it, I would definitely fail! 100 percent!

私の息子様は今一歳５ヶ月です。最近新しい言葉が習いました！
私たちは息子に日本語と広東語と英語を教えるつもりです。私は若い時こどもに言語をおしえたほうが易いと思います。
今「ママ」と「ダダ」を言えるけど、少ない色々なことばをわかります。例えば、日本語で｢だめ、電車、座って｣、広東語で｢ジュンマン(広東語の名前) 、フぁンガォ(寝る)｣、英語で｢No｣をわかります。それでもどんな言語がわかりません。
私と息子様は香港語で話します。奥さんと息子様は日本語で話します。でも、私と奥さんは英語で話します！それは三角の会話！もちろん紛らわしいでした！

My wife and I are planning to teach him Japanese, English and Cantonese. I think it's much learn new languages much easier when they are still young.
Though he can only say 'mama' and 'dada' now, he can still understand various words. For example, 'no, train, sit' in Japanese, 'Jun-man, sleep' in Cantonese and 'no' in English. But I don't think he doesn't understands yet that these are different languages.
I normally speak to my son in Cantonese. My wife speaks to him in Japanese. But my wife and I speak in English! That's a tri-lingual conversation! No wonder he's so confused!
