12月末にヨーロッパ旅行してきたので、備忘録としてブログを書きます。
今回は航空券購入～ドイツ(FRA)到着までです。
アシアナ航空で行きの航空券を購入しました。
HND→ICN→FRAの便です。
価格は2人で20万弱ほど。
実はチケットの日程を変更しています。
最初の購入後に、ドイツのクリスマスは本当にどこも空いてないことに気づき日程を変えました。そのためチケット変更代として2万円/人かかりました。
アシアナメンバーではなかったので電話で申し込みを行いました。
で、いざ出発。深夜便で羽田を1時半に出発しました。
ICNにまず到着します。ICNでのトランジット時間は長かったです。
韓国についたのが深夜だったので、まったく店が開いておらず、ちらほら空きだす6時半までソファで寝てました。ICN空港は結構大きいソファがたくさん置いてあるゾーンがあり、寝るのに困らなかったです。仮眠部屋というのもあるのですが、ここはすでに埋まってしまっていました。
6時半ころに起床、おなかがすいてたので韓国料理を食しました。
HND→ICN経由で無事にFRA着。
・アシアナ航空の感想
機内のサービスはあまり覚えていませんが、可もなく不可もなくです。
映画の数はそこまで多くなかった気がします。スリッパと歯ブラシのアメニティがついていて良かったです。一緒に行った人曰く、機内食も牛丼？のようなものが出て悪くはなかったようです(僕は寝ちゃってました)。あとはハングル語のパッケージに包まれたピザが提供されました。これはおいしかった。
寝たり、あらかじめダウンロードしたNetflix映画や機内映画を見ているうちに、人生初のドイツです。
FRAには14時半着。ビザは不要です。帰りの便だけやたら聞かれました。
ドイツ周遊して気づきましたが、不法滞在する人多いのかも。FRA駅周辺もあまりきれいではなかった。駅周辺は結構、大麻の匂いがしてました。黒人がたくさん集まっていろいろ会合らしきものもしていました。
空港から市内まで電車で移動しました。
よくわからずExpressのところで購入に苦戦していました。事前に調べたチケット代より高いものしか出てこず、かつ時間指定のものしかでてこなかったからです。そうこうしていたら、やさしいおじちゃんにそれはExpressだから高い、あっちで買いなと言って普通電車用で購入できました。
ホテルにチェックインして、少し休憩してフランクフルトのクリスマスマーケットに向かいました。想像より盛り上がっていて本当に楽しかった。
ホットワインとソーセージ、ポテトの組み合わせを注文します。
ホットワイン(一杯5~6ユーロくらい)はカップに入っていて、返却するといくらかユーロが返ってきました。
ちなみにクリスマスマーケットはカードを使えるところも多かったですが、キャッシュオンリーのところもありました。ドイツは他欧州諸国に比べて現金が必要なようです。
メリーゴーランド(有料)、めちゃくちゃ盛り上がってた。
クリスマスマーケットはめちゃくちゃ盛り上がっています。
人通りもすごい。一方、フランクフルト自体にはあまり何もない印象でした。
駅前も汚く、大麻の匂いもしたしあまり治安が良く無さそう。
後でドイツ人の友人に聞きましたが、フランクフルトは金融街の町であまり観光するものはないようです。個人的には空港が近く、街並みもザ・ヨーロッパという感じで可もなく不可もなく、特別な印象はなかったです(これがあのフランクフルトか～来れて感動っていう気持ちでした)。
ドイツはクリスマス(24日、25日)になると本当にすべて閉まってしまうようなので、そこを避けたスケジューリングが必要です。今回の旅程もそこを考慮してスケジュールを立てました。

I traveled to Europe at the end of December, and I am writing this blog as a reminder.This time, I would like to report from the purchase of air tickets to the arrival in Germany (FRA).I bought a ticket to go to FRA by Asiana Airlines.
It is a flight from HND to ICN to FRA.The price is about less than 200,000 for two people.We are actually changing the dates of our tickets.
After the initial purchase, we realized that there was really nowhere available for Christmas in Germany, so we changed the dates. So it cost 20,000 yen/person to change the tickets.
Since I was not an Asiana member, I applied for the tickets by phone.
And then it was time to leave. We departed from Haneda at 1:30 am on a late night flight.The transit time at ICN was long.
Since it was late at night when I arrived in Korea, there were no stores open at all, and I slept on the sofa until 6:30 a.m. The ICN airport has a zone with many large sofas, so I had no trouble sleeping there. There is also a nap room, but it was already occupied.
Impressions of Asiana Airlines
I don't remember much about the in-flight service, but it was neither good nor bad.I don't think there were that many movies. The amenities of slippers and toothbrush were nice. The person I went with said that the in-flight meal was not so good. The person I went with said that the in-flight meal was not bad (I fell asleep). The other thing they served was pizza wrapped in a package in Korean. It was delicious.After sleeping and watching pre-downloaded Netflix movies and in-flight movies, I am in Germany for the first time in my life.
Arrive in FRA at 14:30. No visa required. I was asked a lot only for the return flight.
The area around the FRA station was not very clean. The area around the station smelled like marijuana. There were a lot of black people gathering and having various meetings.I took a train from the airport to the city.
I didn't know what to expect and had a hard time buying a ticket at the Express station. The only tickets I could find were more expensive than the ones I had checked in advance, and the only ones I could find were the ones with a specific time. Then, a kind man told me that it was expensive because it was an Express ticket and that I should buy it over there, and I was able to buy it for a regular train.
We checked into our hotel, took a short break, and headed to the Frankfurt Christmas Market. It was more exciting than I had imagined and really fun.
We order a combination of hot wine, sausage and potatoes.
The hot wine (about 5~6 euros per cup) came in a cup and when we returned it, we got some euros back.
By the way, many Christmas markets accepted cards, but some were cash-only. Germany seems to require more cash than other European countries.
The Christmas market is crazy exciting.
The crowds are huge. On the other hand, I had the impression that there was not much in Frankfurt itself.The area in front of the train station was dirty and smelled like marijuana.
I later asked a German friend of mine, and he told me that Frankfurt is a financial town and there is not much to see and do. Personally, I had no special impression of Frankfurt because the airport is close by and the city is just like a European city, neither good nor bad.
It seems that everything closes on Christmas Day (24th and 25th) in Germany, so it is necessary to schedule your trip to avoid this. I took this into consideration when planning my itinerary this time.
