Agree or disagree:Globalization is a positive force in today's society.

In an era indelibly marked by the rapid emergence of globalization such as, cultural transformation,  overseas expansion, globalization makes entire gamut of contributions from economic prosperity to technological development. Despite the unshakable fact, my stance on this topic is that I don't support the idea that globalization is a positive force in today's world for the following three reasons.

First of all, globalization can be attributable to inequality problems. Although it provides us with economic prosperity by building amicable relationships between countries, it also brings about yawning gap between rich and poor. While wealthy countries eagerly try to reap the rewards of the benefits brought by globalization, underdeveloped countries remain mired in poverty.

Secondly, globalization can be one of the primary causes of rifts between nations. The advancement of globalization surely entails exposure to a different culture, which is the culprit of conflicts. Our tendency to discriminate racial and cultural differences ruthlessly obliterates the possibility that we build a peaceful world.

Thirdly, globalization forcefully deflects attention away from important issues such as global warming, the correction of inequality. Our excessive focus on globalization forces us to fully immerse us in the advancement of our lives at the expense of looming problems. Seeing no further than the end of our nose forcibly deprives us of our ablities to solve pressing problems.

In the final analysis, given the aforementioned three statements, I disagree with the idea that globalization plays important roles in today's world. Amid the ever so unpredictable situation, the most important thing is to perform a balancing act of improving our lives and taking effective countermeasures against impending issues.
