As of Dec 2019, the city offers 11 daycare center for sick children who are usually in need of daycares. Some of those facilities are run by pediatricians and are attached to their clinics. The others are run by nurseries or the ward.
To utilize these facilities, you have to be certified by the ward that you usually use daycare services for kids. You have to have registered your children in advance and been given a certification card with an ID for each of your children.
When you wake up in the morning to find your child seeming to have a fever and unable to go to daycare, you can make a call to a facility to make a reservation for the day. Seeing a pediatrician there and the children are diagnosed with such illness as flu, contagious diseases or other symptoms, he / she can stay there on the day.
Reservations can be made on the internet as well for some facilities. Additionally, even if they are fully booked at the time, you can wait on their waiting list.
