彼らを形容する音楽スタイルは何と言ったら良いのだろう。ジャズファンク、アフロ、ゴスペル、ラテン、ロック、ＡＯＲ等とそれこそ雑多なスタイルを呑み込み、そのミックスチャ・センスと達者な演奏技術と圧倒的なヴォーカルにより際立った作品・ライヴを展開し、熱狂を生み出すバンド。アースが我々世代の音楽ファンに植え付けたイメージだ
ミックスチャとフュ－ジョンの度合いはより幅広くポップなフィールドに向かっていく事になるのだが、一貫して敬虔さを貫く誠実な姿勢に変わりはない。長年Ｒ＆Ｂに親しんでいながら、教会でゴスペルを生で聴いたこともないが、彼らの音楽からある種の開放へと向かうカタルシスと癒しの感覚（と言って失礼なら、妄想か錯覚としておこう）を受け取ったような気になる。名盤
