この曲を初めて聴いたのは中学に入ったばかりの頃、’７６年ＮＨＫ-ＦＭだった。ま、私の場合、古い曲を知るのは大抵ラジオからなのだが。当時よく流れてた洋楽はビートルズ、カーペンターズ、サイモン＆ガーファンクル、あと思い出せもしないショボイやつ・・・これだけでどれだけ恵まれてないのか分かってもらえると思う。先に上げた彼らの曲が悪いわけでは勿論なく、既にして「洋楽＝懐メロ大会」もしくは｢Ｂ級ポップス＆ディスコでノリノリ｣状態。今振り返ってもパロマブランカ悲しくなるしソウルドラキュラ自分が気の毒ビューティフルサンデーに思えてくる（笑）。ホントのところ、聞くべき番組も満足に見つけられない自分が１番悪いとしか言えなくもない。しかーし、そんな中から聞こえてきた、ァッ・ァッ・アーーーーーーーーーーー
