凝りに凝ったアルバム・カヴァーもユニーク・・・

英ロックバンド、レッド・ゼぺリン（1968-1980）の’７５年リリースの大傑作アルバム ”Physical Graffiti”（フィジカル・グラフィティ）

このバンド独自の重くファンキーで引き摺るようなグルーヴ感、ジェームズ・ブラウン・イン・ハード・ロックといった印象さえ濃厚（次作 ”プレゼンス” においてより研ぎ澄まされる）を特徴とするサウンドを軸に、東洋的影響が随所に散りばめられている作品

バラエティに富んだ楽曲により構成されアルバム全体の「途轍もない緊張感」を見事なまでにコントロールする手腕は、このスケールの大きい傑作ならではのものだろう。名曲中の名曲 "カシミール" のリフは、ロック・ギターの古典のひとつである
