USシャイヤでの巻き戻りについて

先週、USシャイヤにおいて”巻き戻し”が行われた模様。

サーバー統合の不具合で発生した問題のようです。

状況を把握すべく、USシャイヤの公式HPを見てみました。
そんな大事故が発生したのだから、
トップページにお詫びの1つや2つあるのだろうと思っていたのだけど、
何も見当たらない・・・。
ニュースのとこ見ても、巻き戻しについての言及なし。
あれ？ホントに巻き戻しなんてあったの？と疑ってしまいたくなる平和っぷり。
さすがアメリカクオリティーだぜ・・・（苦笑）

しょうがないので、フォーラム（掲示板みたいなもの）の中を探してみることに。
ちょっと脱線だけど、フォーラムってなんか見づらいんだよね・・・
なんかうまい検索方法あるのかな？あったら教えて！

これでもない、あれでもないとがちゃがちゃ探して
それらしきものをやっと見つけました。

以下、公式による発表文章転記。

Update (5:30pm PST): Servers are live again, and the following bonuses are running for OS:
+40% EXP bonus
Max (+10%) linking bonus
Max (3x) Enchanting bonus

These bonuses will be run until 12:00pm (noon) on MONDAY, OCT 22ND.

Update (2:32pm PST): Please allow our team to clarify the situation to create better communication and understanding about this issue:

Confirmed major issues caused by the crash:
Many lost UM toons and lost items due to players spawning in bad places and being killed
Many many lost timed items such as 30-day CRR, RPCs, PIDs, etc
Many players removed from their guilds unwillingly

There is a very considerable amount of damage caused by these problems with absolutely no quick way to fix them-- Manual fixes for all of these issues could potentially take weeks, or even months due to the magnitude. This is why a rollback was considered as an option. Here are the considerations about the rollback:
Everything is restored to how it was during the last backup, and players lose only their progress not their toons and items (All AP spent during the rollback time will be rebated)
Previously in Shaiya, rollbacks could only be done to maintenance days, which would have been last Wednesday-- This was very undesirable
Thanks to new processes in place by our teams at Aeria, rollbacks can be done to daily backups (1:00am PST today is the most recent backup)

While our team will always choose a better option than a rollback, no better option was available for this particular crash. Not even close. This relatively-short 13 hour rollback is truly not the worst that can happen, given all the circumstances.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience the rollback will cause for the community, and ask for your patience and understanding with our lack of realistic options.

Also: Because Phoenix did not crash, Phoenix is unaffected and will NOT be rolled back or anything. Nothing happens to Phoenix.

Update (2:16pm PST): After confirming numerous issues and considering all the options, our team has concluded that the best option is to restore the 1:00am PST 10/20 backup (Today, about 13 hours ago). Servers are now down, and backup is being restored as quickly as possible.

Standard rollback procedures will be followed, such as rebating all AP spent during this time (since 1am PST today), etc. Additionally, we will be running cool server-wide bonuses when the servers return, which should be very shortly.

Update (1:17pm PST): We are aware of the reported issues affecting guild members and timed items, and are looking in to them. Please try to be understanding as we look further into confirmation of the issues.

読み進めていくと、私の想像していた内容とは
違う内容のようでした。

どうやら、サーバーのクラッシュがあり、
それらを手動操作で復旧すると、数週間、場合によっては数か月かかるため、
最適解として13時間の巻き戻しが行われたとのこと。

私は、巻き戻るバグが発生したのかと思っていたのですが、
不具合に対処するため、運営の手で巻き戻しが行われたのですね。

ネトゲ用語集（http://www.netgameiroha.net/glossary/kana-rawa）というもので巻き戻しを調べてみるとこうあります。

ロールバック / 巻き戻し
ゲーム内のデータに重大な不具合が生じた際などに、不具合が発生する前の正常な時点までデータを戻すこと。
巻き戻しが行われると、巻き戻された時点以降の行動は完全に「無かったこと」になる。
例えば3日前のデータに巻き戻しが行われる場合、3日前がLv20、そこから今日まで必死に狩りをしてLv40になっていたとしても問答無用でLv20の状態に戻るのである。当然3日間で収集したお金やドロップ品も白紙に戻る。

課金関係は対処されるでしょうが、
その他はどうなるのでしょうか。
今後の動向に注目です。

武器商人の話。２期から視聴でも、面白い。顎が気になる。

・サウスパーク（シーズン16）
地上波じゃないけど、面白すぎるのでランキングに加えました。
毎回おなかが痛くなるほど笑わせてもらってます。
アメリカの文化や社会問題などの勉強にもなってお得。

■結構おもしろい　★★★★
・新世界より
なかなか面白そう。だんだんと世界の謎（タブー）が明らかになる。次回が気になる感じ。

・PSYCHO-PASS
ノイタミナ。犯罪予備軍を予め逮捕するディストピア的世界。キャラデザはリボーンの人。

■とりあえず見てみる　★★★
・To LOVEるダークネス
ハーレムもの。安心して見れる感がある
ブルーレイでは光が消えます。

・コードブレイカー
厨二だけどとりあえず。萌えない主人公。

・絶園のテンペスト
シェークスピア引用してるらしいが、セリフがくさすぎ。坂が急だったので（１話冒頭）とりあえず見てみる。

・さくら荘のペットな彼女
美少女介護アニメ。ラノベ展開だけど、きらいじゃない。制作はJC。リトバスよりも面白くなりそう。

・BTOOOM！
原作面白いので期待

■つまらんが、まだキープ　★★
・リトルバスターズ！
key。じょしらくの制作とは思えないほど、つまらん。ただ、話題作（？）なのでまだキープ
京アニは中二病で正解でした。
フォローいれると、OP曲はいいです。

■だめだこりゃ。視聴やめました　★
・生徒会の一存 Lv.2
制作が１期から変わったらしく、声優も変わり違和感。
１期面白かったので、見てみたけど、途中で見るのがつらくなった。
自分の中の水準が変わったのか、制作変わって劣化したのか・・・

・お兄ちゃんだけど愛さえあれば関係ないよねっ
頑張って見ようとしたけど無理だった。
似たようなタイトルの『俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない』は面白く感じたのになんででしょうね。
