バレンタインデーのの収穫は５人から

My husband got 5 chocolates at his office on the Valentine's day.

貰って来てくれるのは「義理」でも嬉しい

I'm happy that he got them even if the assistants at the office presented them even as "statutory" chocolates.

お返しを考えるのも楽しみ

I'm looking forward to thinking about the presents in return for the chocolates.

くれた親切な会社の女性に感謝です。

I appreciate the women who presented him them.

は「義理」を渡したいのに、渡せる相手が居なくて…

Although there is not man I can present chocolate, I feel sad...

考えた結果、の友達でも

仲良くさせてもらってる４名に送った

So, finally I have sent the presents to 4 of his friends I also get along well with.

大分前に会社の友達に貰って気に入ってたカワイイ飴屋さんの飴

I chose a candy in the quite cute candy shop as a present that I was given by my colleague .

小さい飴に「ｌｏｖｅ」とか「」とかカワイイ模様がある。

The word "love" or heart mark is printed on the candy.

友達の嫁から貰う心境はナゾ・・・だけど

It is not clear how they feel when receiving them.

働き盛りの４人君が少しでも糖分補給できて頭が良く回って

仕事が良くできたら良いなとね。

I hope that they, who are in their prime, will be able to work even a bit better thanks to sugar in the candies I have presented.

楽しい節分（‐＾▽＾‐）

会社の時の後輩今は会社もお互い辞めているからお友達が遊びに来てくれた。

My junior fellow, who has already quit his job, came to meet me.

一緒にランチに行って、それから我が家に来てもらい

We went to eat lunch and come to my house.

5時半位まで主婦話ガールズトークをした

Until about 17:30, we talked about the matters relating to housewife and "girl's talk".

彼女と２人っきりで遊ぶようになってからはまだ１年弱なのに

Just a little under 1 year has passed since I began to play with her just the two of us.

毎回毎回とても楽しくって次が楽しみになる

I have had a wonderful time whenever I played with her and I am looking forward to the next time.

旦那さん（王子様と私は呼んでいる）が帰ってくるからお帰りになられるけどもっと居て～～～っと思ふ。。。

Although she had to go home because her husband, whom I call "prince" would come to her home, I hoped she would have stay longer.

さてさて、帰る時間になった頃に「今日のご飯は？」と話をしたら、

When it was time to leave, I asked her about the day's dinner.

彼女の家は「恵方巻き」ということを聞いて、いいなぁぁ

I was jealous of her as the dinner was "ehou-maki".

そんなは今日は、会社で恵方巻きを食べるから家では要らない～ってに予告されていたから土曜日にでもしようかなぁ

My husband told me in advance that he didn't want "ehou-maki" because he would have it at his office.

と思ってはいたもののそんな話や帰りに寄ったスーパーで人だかりが出来てどんどんなくなる恵方巻きを見ていると

But when I found that the corner of "ehou-maki" at a supermarket I had visited was crowded with many people and "ehou-maki" disappeared rapidly,

皆は丸かじりして福を今日呼び込むのに我が家は明後日ってなんかやっぱりダメだ！！！と思ったらおさまりが付かなくなりやっぱり今日でないと！！と思い

I thought that it was not good to eat "ehou-maki" the day after tommorow and we had to prepare "ehou-maki" at the day as the other people would have ate "ehou-maki" to invite good fortune.

海苔巻材料で足りなさそうな、かんぴょう、節分の魚の鰯（節分価格かと思いきや５ｃｍ位が１７匹で２００円）を買って帰宅

I bought a gourd which is "kanpoyou" in Japan and sardinops melanostictus which is fish of "setsu-bun", as which costs only JPY 200 for 17 sardinops melanostictuses although I worried that it would have been expensive.

今日食べれることにしたが為に気分が

I was so exited to decide to eat it at the time.

酢飯の上には白ゴマ

Put white sesame on vinegared rice.

その上に、干瓢、椎茸、人参、さやえんどう、レンコン、しょうが、

卵、鶏そぼろ

Put the "kanpyou", shitake mushroom, carrot, pea, "renkon", ginger, baked egg and "tori-soboro" on it.

お～高野豆腐の買い置きが無かったことに終盤気付くも諦め

Wooooo, I give up including "koya-douhu" as I found that "koya-douhu" was stocked at the end of the cooking.

来年はこれを見て忘れないように。

I have to remember to prepare it next year.
そんな合間に圧力鍋でお得に買えた鰯の甘露煮

I stewed sardinops melanostictus in soy sauce and sugar with pressure cooker.

（水：１カップ　ざらめ砂糖＆みりん＆醤油：各々１／４カップ弱　

　しょうが：１片　最後にかつおぶし）

(Water: 1 cup, coarse sugar, sweet Japanese rice wine and soy sauce: a little under 1/4 cup,

　ginger: one slice and dried bonito fish: appropriate)

歳の数の豆を食べて、家の中とベランダの外に豆を投げる。

I ate beans of the number which is same as my age and threw them inside house and outside the balcony.

家の中は拾うのは自分か・・・。

I have to pick up the beans which is thrown inside house.

が会社メンバーと会社近所の神社で芸能人の撒く豆まき大会に

My husband joined the bean throwing ceremony which invited talent at the shrine near from his office.

参戦してバッチリ福豆してきてくれたし福カモン

He got "fukumame" and good fortune will come.

さて、次はバレンタインデー

The next event will be Valentine's day.

は何個してきてくれるんだろ

I am looking forward how many chocolates he would get.

もうすぐ節分♪

今週末は節分日本には季節によってこうゆう行事で

This weekend has the event called Setsu-bun in Japan.

食べるものが決まっているけど、節分はのり巻きだから

好きで楽しみ

In Japan, the different food is decided to be eaten in the different events.

そういえば、７日、七草粥の日だった。

As I recall, 7th this month was the day of rice porridge with seven herbs

七草粥は特にナズナやハコベラなんて雑草じゃない！？って思うような

葉っぱを含む７草を入れたお粥。

It is the rice porridge with seven herbs including shepherd's-purse and chickweed which seem to be just weed.

これを食べたら１年間健康でいられるというなんとも素晴らしいお粥

なんだけれど・・・・・

If you eat it, you can be healty this year. What a wonderful rice. However,,,,,

こどもの頃からから葉っぱ系の野菜類が嫌いだったは

勿論好ましくないけれど

I have hated the vegetables classified in herbs since I was a child. So it is not preferable for me to eat it.

家族みんなが食べていて一人だけ食べずに病気したらイヤだという

Just becase, however, I don't want to get ill as I avoid eating it altough all my family member other than me eat it,

気持ちのみが背中を押して一生懸命食べていた。

I have eaten it with heart and soul.

そんなが、結婚してからは、ワザワザ自分で買いに行き

Even I went to necessarily go supermarket and

今年もここぞとばかりに値段を設定したように感じる値段と物の価格が

釣り合ってないような七草にしては高額じゃね！？なセットを購入

bought the too expensive set of the seven herbs for herbs, which is not equivalent to the hervs itself becase of the high season.

やっぱり、カブと小さい大根以外

普通なら買わないなぁ・・・

I do not usually buy the set other than turip and small Japanese radish.

病気しない凄いお粥やからなと言いながら

Saying that it was the miracle rice porridge, which prevent us from getting ill,

結婚前はやむを得ず食べていた七草粥。

I have eaten it by necessity before the marriage.

いやはやまさか自分で七草セットを買って作るとは・・・・

I never imagine I would buy the seven herbs' set and cook....

今年１年病気せずは確定だから、

Thanks to the rice porridge with seven herbs,

we won't get ill over one year.

今週末には節分豆とのり巻きで福も呼び込んでしまお

In addition to health, on this weekend, we will bring in good fortune through the Setsu-bun beens and Norimaki.
