Last weekend, we took a group of students to Billabong Sanctuary. The best thing about Billabong Sanctuary is that you can touch and hold so many different animals. The students had an enjoyable day walking around the park. During the day we listened to talks on different animals including crocodiles, koalas, wombats, reptiles, dingoes, and cassorwaries. We had a BBQ lunch and watched the crocodile feeding! We had lots of fun!
Two Weekends ago a group of students from Townsville International English School went on an adventure to Alligator Creek Falls. The walk was 17km into the rainforest near Townsville. Wow, what an adventure! The waterfall is magnificent! It really is worth the walk. There are four creek crossings along the way....so the walk isn't for the faint hearted! Most of the students went swimming in the crystal clear waters of Alligator Creek. (Don't worry there weren't any Crocodiles) The students had an enjoyable day and slept well that night!
