As promised here are the pics posted up from last week! They ended up only putting 2 of the 4 pictures up though にひひ

Warming up my bar seat

My friend arrives!

Had a company meeting in Shanghai so was up there from Wednesday until Friday. First night I arrived, met up with my colleagues and had hot pot. The catch: we were also drinking Mao Tai, and I think I inhaled about 12 shots during the course of the dinner... being the nightcrawler that I am I snuck out to a bar after heading back to the hotel for another drink.

Next night, after a looooong boring meeting, went for a stroll around Nan Jing Dong Lu and Wai Tan. Though it was pleasantly not too packed at the very touristy Wai Tan, there was a reason for that: It was pretty bloody cold and the fog was so bad u could hardly see the buildings at Pudong!! Afterwards met up with a good colleague friend and paaaartied. It was Chivas night at this club called Guandii, and 2 gals were going around taking pictures of everyone for their website... for some reason they decided to take like 4 pictures of me. I have yet to see these pictures, but I'll be sure to share it with everyone once I do べーっだ!

Inside Guandii, camera shaken for added effect

Foggy night at Wai Tan (The Bund).

Gotta love eating on company's expense (yes all that food is for me). And all that costs less than USD8!!!

I really shouldn't complain about my job. I don't think there's another job out there right now where I only see my boss about once every 2 months, and get to go to Macau whenever with all expenses covered!

The first few times I went to Macau, all I saw were the glitsy new hotels and casinos that are being built, and the mainlanders that flock to these places, blowing thousands upon thousands of dollars on the gambling tables. That obviously did not leave me with a very pleasent image of the city... however yesterday I finally had a chance to see the other side of the city - the historical and cultural side of the city passed down from the Portuguese colonial era.

Xmas time is near! Love the architecture

Looking down from the Ruins of St. Paul. A contrast of the old in the foreground and the new in the background.

The weather was marvelous, 20-something degrees, nothing like the type of weather you'd expect in December!!
