First, various foodstuffs are used for local dished of Hokkaido, on the other hand, in Okinawa, many foodstuffs peculiar to the land are used.
Second, the food culture of the Ainu who is indigenous people of Hokkaido has rooted in Hokkaido and the food culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom days has rooted in Okinawa.
Third, since it is cold in Hokkaido, there are many dishes cooked in a pot at the table, but there is nothing in Okinawa.
This time, we turned out that climate and history affect food culture greatly.
