His performances were beautiful.
His comments surprised me, too.
It seems that he has a determination to be a stronger skater

An interview with Jeremy Abbot after the FS
-Jeremy did come in with the brand new attitude this season. Third National Championships for you. But after everything you've been through how special? How different is this one?
This one I felt a great. I just felt so in control myself. You know I was really nervous. When I got out there, I just took in all the energy from the audiences. I kept my focus. I went the program, one thing, at the time
-You looked like a new Jeremy Abbot out there. What message do you think you were sending to the Worlds' contenders, to Patrick Chan to the Worlds.
I'm feeling really confident. Each competition of the season, just more and more and more I have to work to date. I have more in me. I have two more competitions now like the last two seasons. So I'm really excited about that. I think I sent the strong message. I wasn't perfect but I posted a big scores. I'm just showing each time I'm getting better and better. The World Championships will be my peak.
In the SP, Abbot uses "sing, sing, sing". Talking about swing music, here is Elizabeth Manley. Yes! She can handle any kind of music.
