Q: Is there anything specific that you learned about from your time away? Has anything given you any kind of advantage to think coming back and competing?
Chan: One thing is perspective, gaining a lot of perspectives by taking a year off. First, I looked back at the things I have ever accomplished. Anything going forward at this point is a bonus. I'm not really there for medals but for my own self-fulfillment and my own goals. I am going out and making the audiences feel something. That's my goal. Have the other skaters do the jumps, I am just there to perform

Takahashi: Her brand value might get kind of damaged depend on results she will receive when she returns to compete. But she made this decision based on how she felt. I knew she's really athlete.
