He seemed to teach some kids to skate on the ice rink on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center.
While he explained his tour on Smucker's Stars on Ice, he talked about his future.
It's always best not to mention about a retirement when you are a highlight of the shows. I mean I think his face doesn't look like a competitor anymore.

The interesting thing is his reference to the professional skating in the U.S.
It might be the same thing all over the world.
Going to school might be a good idea to start a new career.

-So do we see you in the Olympics in the future?
I hope so. Yeah. I mean it's still, you know, a thought process. It's going through my head. I'm trying to wait options. It is very important to me before I jump back in. Because I don't want to let anyone down. So I'm watching this season very carefully and see if I feel like I can be competitive. And you know obviously by 2014 I have to be more than competitive. But, for right now, I think the fact that I still want to compete is very good sign.
-Life beyond skating?
School.
-Is there one?
Yeah, I think so because there is no professional skating really anymore. So we don't have an opportunity to stay in the sport for years and years after we finish competing. And I think there's a lot of other goal I have in my life. I have to go to school and explore other options. It's something like I feel I have to learn, earn, not learn, but earn through all my life and if I earn the time to go to school.
-So you figured out what is it when you grow up, if you grow up. Some of us put it up forever, you know.
Usually I would say an Olympic gold medalist. But the last year I have been able to say that. So now what's next? I don't know maybe a two-time Olympic gold medalist, but maybe something completely different. We'll see it. I think time will tell for me.
Tosca(2007-2008 season)
Even though he missed a second jump in the opening, this performance was very energetic!
