She was very strong and stable this season.

-Miki, you were first to skate in the group, did you think you had done enough to winning to get a gold medal?
"I did some mistakes in the free program, but I don't know how to say... I didn't think about.. like "I can get a gold medal.", but I was thinking to have some medal. So this is a final result and I was really happy and I think it's really amazing.
-Was it nerve lacking sitting and watching each skater and wondering what place you were going to get?
"No. I did some interviews. I was talking with the Japanese media. I didn't even see any skaters."
-And your second Worlds title. How is this one special for you.
"Four years ago, I didn't have any idea to get a medal. I just won it and I just got a surprise because I didn't plan things so well and I had an injury. And this time was a big different because I was trying so hard. I had an idea to try to get some medal and this is the final result. I get a gold medal. That's the big different. My mind is different."
-What do you think that means for Japan?
"For Japan, I think it's because of the result, I can make them happy. I just tried to make them happy and smile back from our Team Japan skating. I hope it works for Japan and I hope it makes happy (brings happiness) to Japan."

-Carolina, you've just found out you were on the bronze medal. To beginning of the season, did you think it was possible?
"No I have to admit that I began with no expectations. I didn't even know what was really going on, if I was able to compete until the end to get to go to the Worlds. Now, I'm here and I won the medal. It's cool."
I guess all of the skaters had to push themselves hard.
But I believe that the competition lightened up the Japanese fan as Ando wished.
