As many figure skating fans might have done, I also read a new technical rules for 2011-2012 season.

It was difficult for me.泣き1 I'm eager to learn it though.

This is an interview with Sasha Cohen around 2007??

That was a few years since ISU adopted the new judging system.

She might have a different opinion now and their situation might have been changed.

But it is still true that judged sports are to be complicated.ヤレヤレ・・・

-The judging is still somewhat subjective?

"It's so confusing. They change the system like every other year."

-Explain the whole process. How confusing it is.

"You know, I don't even really understand half of it. Just to be honest. But they change the system and they add things. And the things have different levels and different grades of execution. They change the rules from what. It's for what. And they add this and then the judges don't know what's going on and I don't know what's going on. And we see the numbers on the screen that we don't understand. So it's quite frustrating. So I try not to get involved with that. It's just, hopefully, that's able to figure something out.

-Since it's subjective, it would be not a good idea to get on a wrong side of the judges, right?

"Yeah. You want to be a consistent performer. You want to be polite. When they're walking by, I know I hate that judge. So those are the kind of guidelines.
