今日は北海道いい天気です。
最近すごく暑くなってきて、少し冷房がかかってないとつらいですね。。。
そんな季節にぴったりの曲ということで今回はThe Wanted の　Glad You Cameをセレクトしました。（ホントは訳しやすそうだったから、笑笑）
The wanted は2009年に成立した、イギリスとアイルランドの５人からなる男性ユニットです。今日紹介する Glad you came で全英１位、米Billboard hot 100でも最高３位を獲得するといった快挙を成し遂げています。

この曲は1番と2番で歌詞がかなりかぶるので、そういう意味ではかなり楽でした
実際曲を聞いてみるとわかりますが、しっとりとした雰囲気の中に盛り上がるサビのノリの良さが印象的です。またサビ前の同じ単語を二節にわたって重ねる感じも独創的ですよね。
昨日のI'm Yoursでもそうでしたが、「限られた時間」とか「人生って短い」みたいな意味が強く込められている気がします。私自身最近強く限りある人生の儚さを思い知らされた出来事があったので。。。共感を覚えてしまう部分も少なくないです
ここまで２曲続けて男性のシンガーかつバラードでしたが、次回も男性シンガーです（笑）　でもちょっとバラードとは違うかな。。結構前にはやった曲だと思います。次回もお楽しみに！

初めまして！
最近洋楽を聞き始めたんですが、すごいはまってます。
そこで！！
英語力には少し自信があるのでブログはじめちゃいました　笑笑
では早速行ってみましょ～
記念すべき一回目はこの曲

初投稿でしたが、１時間半くらいかかりました（汗）
この曲を選んだ理由ですが、やはりセクシーな声のJason Mraz本人に惹かれたことです。
ただ歴が浅いもので、他に彼のおすすめの曲ありましたら教えてほしいです（笑）

個人的にはOur name is our virtueの訳にかなり悩みました。結果として結構直訳に近い感じにしちゃいましたけど。。。
訳をつけて改めて思ったことですが、「深く考えず、直感でありのままの自分で」みたいなことを伝えようとした歌詞だなと。バラードは好きです。はい（笑）
