The Alarm, Big Country,...were some of my favorite bands from UK in the early 80s.
At 13, as a close-cropped head boy, I was stunned to see them on TV, the music and the hair!
Looking back, I had no idea why I got into them, but the combination of acoustic and electric guitars, Joe Strummer-ish vocal and of cource the melody got me.
RIP, Mike Peters.
アラーム、ビッグ・カントリー、、80年代初期のUKロック界で大好きだった。13歳、坊主頭の中1、ベストヒットUSAでアラーム取り上げられる。その音楽と髪の毛の立ち具合にひっくり返る。
当時はなんでハマったか全く分からずやったけど、振り返るとアコギとエレキの絡み、ジョー・ストラマー的なヴォーカル、そして勿論メロディかと。憲章さんのライナーも熱い熱い！
