Going to Shibuya on Halloween isn't my thing, but seeing my favorite Donavon Frankenreiter live is! What a great night of love, peace, happiness, and music!
Donavon himself nailed some guitar solos (I could hear a Texas blues influence like Lightnin' or Gatemouth). Keyboard player, Jeremy Long, played the beautiful pedal steel as well and Matt Grundy, the bass, blew the blues harp while keeping the groove at the same time with the drummer, Alex Nash. Amazing!

CDではあまり聴けないDonavon自身の気合いの入ったギターソロ（ライトニンやゲイトマウスのようなテキサス・ブルースの影響が感じられた）。 キーボードのJeremy Longは美しいペダル・スティールも弾き、ベースのMatt Grundyはブルース・ハープを吹きながら同時に、ドラムのAlex Nashとグルーヴをキープすることも。素晴らしい！
