Watched the 4K restored version of Talking Heads' "Stop Making Sense," which was first released in 1984. Seeing the strange dancing and the eccentric man in oversized suits that I saw when I was 13 brought back a flood of memories. Back then, I didn't fully understand, but songs like "Crosseyed and Painless" and especially "Life During Wartime," with its Afrobeat vibe, struck me as super cool. Especially "Life During Wartime," the lyrics resonate so much in today's world.
Got home and thought, 'Gotta practice those moves like his!'
