50 years ago today, "My Man", as Bernie Leadon (Eagles) put it, Gram Parsons was found dead.
I still have a cassette compilation I made in '93, named "20th anniversary of Gram's passing" somewhere I think. The cassette had been the BGM throughout September at Kenny's in Kyoto. A beautiful blend of Rock, Country, Soul, R&B, ...

没後20周年の1993年、京都ケニーズのBGM用に自己満カセット・コンピを作り、9月中ひっそり流す作戦決行。保守的なお客様の態度に時折ビクビクしながら、ロック、カントリー、ソウル、R&B、などなど美しい音楽の融合に満ちたケニーズ、、永井22歳の夏の終わりの思い出。
