It was part of The Alegre All-Stars' 35th Anniversary when this one was reissued in 1996.

I wanted to find out what this cuban jam session called "Descarga" was all about and got me this one. You gotta buy it if you wanted to listen to it back then. No YouTube nor streaming! Here, the later “godfather of Salsa", Johnny Pacheco was cooking on his flute and got me hooked on them and later Fania All Stars. R.I.P. 

サルサの帝王ジョニー・パチェーコが亡くなった。これはアレグレ・オールスターズ35周年で1996年に再発された1枚。当時キューバ的ジャムセッション「デスカルガ」ってどんなか知りたい一心で入手。YouTubeやらないし、聴きたきゃ買わな！の時代。2人のリーダー、パチェーコのフルートとパルミエリのピアノの躍動感！その後ファニア・レコード創設。聴きたいものが増殖していった。
