"Gypsy Songman" is gone...
Like most of you, I came to know his music thanks to N.G.D.B. who did a great rendition of "Mr Bojangles".
I'm a down-to-the-bone Japanese, but there's something about his voice and music that feed my craving for music and take me to the places I've never been to.

Gランもバッチリな正にこの曲の「ジプシー・ソングマン」、ジェリー・ジェフ・ウォーカー逝去。
皆さんと同様、ニッティ・グリッティの「ボージャングル」で彼の音楽に初対面。NY生まれの彼の音楽は、骨の髄まで日本人である僕の音楽的欲求を満たし、知らない所に連れて行ってくれる。また聴きたくなってきた。合掌。
