I first came across the name Mike Vernon in the liner notes of An Anthology of British Blues: "Blues Anytime", which was released in Japan in the ’80s. I used to play along with that—it always felt so good.
Over time, I realized that many of the albums that inspired me were produced by him.
Thank you for the incredible work you did, Mr. Vernon. RIP...
