Salsa legend, “Salsa Bouncer,”(as Japanese obi says) Willie Colon has passed away.
Ever since I got hooked on Latin music, Fania Records has been my go-to. This one in 1976 is super informative — from Toyo’s detailed liner notes to the step-by-step salsa dance instructions! (never tried)...RIP
NYサルサの大御所、「サルサの用心棒」（邦題最高！）、ウィリー・コローン氏逝去。
ラテン音楽にハマってからはファニア関連をとにかく掘った。1976年作のこれなんて情報量半端ない。中村とうようさんの解説に「Salsaダンスの手ほどき」まである！（やったことない）。「パートナーが見つかるまでは...」のセクションも😂
