Today I’ll write about advantage of studying abroad in the way of easy essay.
So, let’s go!!
① Recently, going to study abroad is easier than it’s ever been. And more and more people choose studying abroad as way to study English. It may be because of many changing situation like developed transportation between many countries or increasing demand of English skill or expanding thinking that people try to think entire world of(as?) more closing thing etc. Probably, it’s good thing for studying English.
However, at the same time, way to study English in own country is also developed as you know. For example, you can search that what more effective way to study English is on developed internet environment. Or you can choose educational material from more many kinds of them than a decade ago.
Well, what is the advantage of overseas education?? Concretely speaking, there are three main advantages. One is that if you hope and try, you can get complete English environment. One is that you can not only get complete English environment but also get opportunity to contact with other culture. And last one is that you can get many opportunities to challenge new or difficult thing.
② If you hope and try, you can get a complete English environment. It means that you can only touch with English all the time. If you can only use and think English, your English skill will be exactly improved. In your country, is it possible?? Probably it isn’t. If you are in your country, your native language will be used in most of your life. And only using English definitely help your study.
Besides, even after you come back your country, its experience will help your study because your viewpoints to English are changed by overseas education and overseas environment. Comparing English to baseball, studying English in own country would be practice swing or pepper or even practice game. And spending abroad with using English would be live game. Of course, it is absolutely necessary to practice (practice swing or pepper or live game) constantly. However we can improve our baseball skill in more effective way by reflecting and revising the result of game. On the other hand, we can find clues to improve our English in more effective way by experiencing actual English life. We could feel English as closer thing and could recognize reason of studying English more strongly.
③ Secondly, we can not only get good opportunities to study English but also get opportunities to contact with many kinds of cultures. Basically there are only few opportunities to contact foreigner and contact other culture in our own country. However there are many cultures in ELS or overseas university especially in country which many kinds of people immigrate into. Contacting other culture would be special experience for you. So, concretely, what is the advantage of contacting other country like? Perhaps, it is that we will be able to recognize how other culture existing. And we will be able to recognize that actually there are difference between our culture and their culture. On the other hand, it’s that we can remove our practically one-side original sense of value. I think this is very important thing to become person who is grace and can accept many kinds of values and is honorable. Actually all people have one-side sense of value more than a little.
④ At the end, we can get more opportunity to challenge new or difficult thing. Of course, even in Japan, there are a lot of opportunities to challenges. But if you were in abroad, even talking with store staff or using public transportation or taking about romance with friends are one of challenges. Actually it depends on parson that if one can recognize the chance. But there are a lot of chances to challenge something. And perhaps, you may have gotten better at finding some chance to challenge something after your overseas education.
⑤ On the whole, Needless to say, these are advantage to study English. However if you go to study abroad, it will also be your unforgettable memory. And these experience might be your advantage of life.
