先日の台風19号で、武蔵小杉（川崎市）のタワマン（タワーマンション）が停電や断水の憂き目に遭っている。

砂上の楼閣、という言葉が思わず頭に浮かんだ。まさにこういうことを指すのでは、という感じ。
砂上の楼閣は house of cards。直訳すると、トランプ札で作った家。
タワマンは superhigh-rise apartment （または condominium）。タワマンはいわば超高層マンションなので、superhigh-rise にした。
ちなみに、mansion は邸宅という意味。日本で使われるマンションとは意味が違うので、注意。
