I performed at the bar yesterday.
There were only few customers in there and most of them are elderly people.
So, they know old songs usually jazz, standard or rock music in 50’s and 60’s like the songs of “The Beatles” or “Carpenters.
I also like the songs that they requested so, I usually play their requests.
The customers yesterday requested the song “The smoke gets in your eyes” and other old songs and I could play them.
They said that, we thought that you were much younger than us but you knew these songs so we thought that you might be the same age as us.
This kind of conversation sometimes happens.
So if I play “Green sleeves” or other classical music, does that mean my age is over 100 years old?!
