Dear my future host family,
Greetings from Japan!
I wish this letter will be a precious first relationship for us!
My name is Sum** *** and I am 24 years old. I live in Chiba which located to east of Tokyo. Chiba is famous as Tokyo Disney Resort, Makuhari Messe,Narita international Airport, and my home town Kashiwa is located just 30minutes away from down town Tokyo. It’s a huge residential area and also has a lake, rivers, parks or natures. I’ve been living here since I was 2 years old and I love my neighborhood!
My personality is affectionate and thoughtful. I always try to do the best and believe myfuture. I love meeting new cultures/people because these bring me great finding and new opinions so I feel my world is so expand!
The reason I want to be an Au Pair is because I LOVE children and I have a big dream. My dream is to be a Japanese teacher at elementary or secondary school in AUS or USA. I want to learn child care, English, and American cultures as an Au Pair and then I’m going to major Education/Teaching at graduate school! I believe that this Au Pair program is ideal program to learn childcare, English, and different cultures and this would be great step for my dream! In addition, to be a mother is also my great dream. I want 2 or 3kids after 2years work experience as a teacher. I want to spend a lot of time with my kids and care with a lot of affection. I’m sure that the experience as an Au Pair must help myself so much when I become a mother!
I want to tell you about my child care experience. I’ve build much childcare practice very earnestly since I decided to try this Au Pair program. In the beginning, I started care of 3months boy named Takashi at the neighbour’s house. I learned many childcare skill such as feeding(bottle/spoon), burping, changing diapers, bathing, playing with him and etc very carefully. I accustomed immediately and sometime I stay home just him and me when mother is going to dentist or pelvis massage. He loves my singing, hugs and playing with me because he has a lot of laugh and speak (not yet Language of course)
when we are being together!
And then, I also started caring children aged 3months to 3years at the nursery because I also wanted to learn the situation of group care. I play with children such as reading picture books, singing and dancing, playing with toys, drawing pictures, running together and help to having a lunch/snacks. Children have a lot of fun and I also have a lot of fun. Children who started crawling/walking move so free so I always see them a lot of attention.
Furthermore, I had advanced lifesaving course sponsored by Kashiwa city fire department. I learned that how to artificial respiration for children/babies, be vomited what kids has eaten, use of AED, and stop the bleeding. However I also understand protecting children from this kind of risks is most important.
I LOVE spending a lot of time with children because they always makes me so happy and tender. They are full of strong curiosity and new ideas so I learn a lot of things from them. I love the moment I can go back 2-3years old little girl when I’m playing/caring children! I’ve feel that・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
