Vision

Today, I’d like to make a proposal to think your vision.
The meaning of the thinking vision is the same as counting backward your own life. If you do not think long term positively, you will be on the defensive and drown in the daily duties. So, if you wish design your own life, it would be a good idea to think and discuss your own vision.

First, what is the vision thinking? This is that you imagine your ideal image when you will die in the future. If you wish something for example, position, reputation, or family, you must counter backward from them. What you want to become can lead to decide what you should do to reach the goal and what you should do today.

Then, why making the vision is so important? If you do not think your life in long term, you will drown in the daily tasks or homework. Of course, it does not need to have vision in the short run, but a decade from now, you will worry about your own life. That’s the main reason why thinking vision is crucial.

Although you understand that vision is crucial for your life, it is difficult to have it. If you so, it would be a good idea to use PDRD cycle, this is parodied to PDCA cycle, and PDRD means Plan, Discuss, Replan and Do.
First of all, you make tentative vision, because we can’t discuss without springboard. No matter how childish may be, you do not care. Next, you will ask a person’s opinion with wide experience. Professors, senior or parents are better than friends or colleagues. They will give you some positive and negative advises, so using these opinions, you can replan your vision. In this way, you can advance toward goal with confidence. Of course, you may realize you need to replan your vision, it is desirable matter because life and carrier is not straight line. You must not label your life only one way, because various experience brings up your body and heart.

The most important part of the argument is thinking your future helps you to attain ideal life, so the only thing that you can do is to start thinking vision as soon as possible.

何か分からないことの真相を知ろうとするとき、
いい悪いを判断しながら考えていると、
結論ありきになってしまう。

Habit

One of the things that I’ve done is to continue to make a habit of making new one habit every week. What’s made me think so is, it seemed to me that brilliant people without exception have their own habits, regardless of what they are. In other words, what differentiates brilliant people from other ordinary people is whether they have own rule or not.

One example that comes to mind is Hidetoshi Nakata, famous football player. When he belonged to J-league he always went to the gym alone after the team training. While his teammates were playing on the ground, he got himself into shapes every day. As a consequence of his effort, he would be a star player.

Of course, at the start we will go through various hardships, but once we can get into the habit of doing something, it is not pain, but also a fun!

However, on the practical side, no matter how easy carry out some habits may be, it is not easy for everyone to continue every day.

So, what would you say to think a good idea to continue a new habit?

By trial and error, I recognized that the only solution would be “subdivision and recording”. Subdivision and recording is a method to make a habit to the attainment of the one’s goal.

Let me introduce this method. First of all, we take apart the abilities to attain the goal, and then clarify the way how to get these abilities. Next, we keep a record of what did or did not the tasks to do.

The advantages of this idea is clarity of tasks what we should do and our daily value. If we make a table whether we do the tasks or not today, the table gives as whether we could be making a gradual advance toward our own goal. For example, if you want to master English, every day you keep a record of how long you listen English and how many words you memorize today.

Following the introduction of subdivision and recording method, you will feel the change of yourself. Of course, every single method is not the best for everyone, but what do you say to start above all? Habit of any kind will help in your future goal attainment.
