→People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, carrer preparation, increased knowledge ). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

In my case, I attended university mostly because I wanted to be a teacher. But as a matter of fact, many people don't have same wishes as me. I think the most reason people attend college or university is to make their friends.

Firstly, especially at university, there are many people. So, it is a good opportunity for you to make friends with people from many places which are different from you. It may be stimulating for you to know about places that you have never been to. From that thing, university give people chances to make friends.

Secondly, people belong to a certain ( or more) faculty at universiry. At the lecture held at the same faculty, people who are interested in the same thing attend the lecture. Sometimes they discuss and do their homework cooperating one another. They can be good friends because they have same purpose and interest to study.

Thirdly, university students have a lot of time for free. At high school, there are so many classes to study and club activities after school. So, they cannnot have enough free time when they go to high school. But at university, people can arrange their schedule and they can have much free time if they want. Some go to part time job for earning money, and some belong to a certain club activity to do sports or other things. However, I think many of them want to spend a lot of time with their friends because it's funny! I met my best friend when I was in university. I spent a lot of time with him and went to many places together. That's because we had a lot of time and we could arrange our schedule to have much free time.

For three reasons, people attend college or university because they want to make many friends and spend a good time with them.

I agree with the statement that parents are the best teachers. Mainly from three reasons that I mention from no on, I agree with it.

At first, we can spend much time with our parents especially in childhood. When we are born, we cannot do anything without their help. We can learn how to eat, how to go to toilet and so on. I have a daughter who is about two years old. Now she can speak a little, sing a song, dance around me. As a matter of fact, she can also learn from TV programs for kids. But she always does same things as my wife and I do. Without saying, we are the best teachers for her.

In addition, my parents have a great impact on my way of thinking. In fact, I don't always agree with my parents, but I think the difference of our thinking between us can also makes me think about others' opinion. I am likely to be self confident. In such cases, my mother tells me not to be too confident. My friends sometimes tell me same things, however, because my mother tells me so many times, I think I should take her opinions into consideration.

Moreover, we also become parents when our babies are born. We don't know how to care about our babies. In my case, my wife's mother greatly helped us. My daughter was too small when she was born. Her weight was about 2100g only. So she needed to drink milk a lot. But her stomach was too small to drink a lot of milk. We were embarrassed so much. When we were in such a trouble, my wife's mother came to the hospital where she was every day. She told us how to give milk well to our baby and sometimes she cared about our baby when my wife was entirely tired. I must have worked at the place far from the hospital where she was, I couldn't be with her so long time. So she was the great teacher as " MOTHER" I think.

From such three reasons, I agree with the statement that parents are the best teachers.
