It’s been over two years since the last two pairs released Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 Mens around the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, and now finally a new set of adidas Originals Concord midtops are making it to retail. These new pairs have the something-old/something-new look that marries vintage varsity-style two-tone colorblocking with today’s attention to tonal depth. Red and grey pairs add a little something extra with their arrangement of suede atop leather, and you can see just how they fit together with white midsoles and gum bottoms after the jump. Let us know what you think of this clean and classic trend and look for these at Three Stripes stores like Kith in New York.
Other than one season in Miami, Lamar Odom‘s entire NBA career has been played in LA, and yet, it seems like he’s been all over the place. It really started with a turbulent college career that saw LO leave UNLV for Rhode Island after admitting he accepted cash payments from a booster. This gave the brilliant 6’10″ jack of all trades a ‘bad character’ label and probably helped him slip to fourth in the 1999 NBA Draft. Odom played for a bunch of mediocre squads, alternately carrying labels of ‘underrated’ and ‘overrated’ for his own play, but his talents really came into focus when the Shaq deal sent Lamar to the Lakers.
Odom’s no longer the main superstar on his team but he’d probably be happy enough to give you dap with a double-ringed hand, and he’s looking to secure a threepeat with the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 PE. These joints are for the ‘other’ half of Odom’s games, played outside Staples Center, with a black base adding Laker-colored accents and his ‘LO7′ logo to the tongue. Check out more shots after the jump and let us know how these compare to the other Nike Basketball NBA PEs we’ve seen of late.
