After lunch, I went to A-nation 2009.
A-nation is a festival/concert with almost all Avex artists (Hamasaki Ayumi, Koda Kumi, Tohoshinki, BoA, Otsuka Ai, etc).
The artists performing are always different every day.
The Tokyo show was held in Ajinomoto stadium.
Stephanie’s Blog

It was huuuuuuge!
Stephanie’s Blog

The whole thing lasted for like 6 hoursビックリマーク
It was more like a festival with LOTS of food stalls, etc, people were walking around and not just sitting still watching the performances.

I watched Otsuka Ai, BoA, Tohoshinki, etc performing, but I didn't stay until Ayumi's performance since it was getting a bit lateシラー

Dinner in Yoshinoya, kalbi set with kimchi (550yen).

It's REALLY worth it!!
Unlimited high quality beef, pork, vegetables, rice, various drinks only for that amount of money, and the flavour was awesome tooドキドキ

And then I met up with Rozie; we went to this huge Gundam exhibition in Tokyo Big ight, Odaiba.
Stephanie’s Blog

This was truly a heaven for Gundam lovers音譜
This exhibition (and the huge gundam statue later) was held to celebrate Gundam's 30th anniversary.

The original Gundam(?) greeting us in the entrance.

An amazing diorama, the Gundam was as tall as a normal person.

Gundam Wing Zero.

Rozie thinks that this doesn't make any sense because of the wings lolあせる

I really like the colouring here, normal drawings that looked 3D.

It must be some colonies in some Gundam series.

I think they are planning for some 3D Gundam sometime in the future.

There is a high chance that this will fail, since they will tend to focus on the graphics, forgetting about the storylineパンチ!

The FAMOUS biiiiiig Gundam in Odaibaラブラブ
It was taken down on the 31st of Augustダウン

At around 6pm, when it started getting dark, there were lights flashing from some parts of it all of a sudden, and the head started moving right left up down. It was pretty coolビックリマーク

I think there was some light show with the Gundam too for a few days, some amazing laser plays.
But it would've been too late for us to catch the last train so we didn't go for thatむっ

It was quite a festival around the big Gundam (as usual in Japan) with lots of food stalls.

This is essential for summer in Japan.
