I fell asleep without taking my contact lens off and when I woke up, my right eye wasswollen So I had to resort to my glasses for the whole day, and I bought eyedrops from the pharmacy
Lunch in Sukiya, mini okonomi beef bowl (390yen).
Strawberry cheesecake snacks.
After lunch, I went to A-nation 2009. A-nation is a festival/concert with almost all Avex artists (Hamasaki Ayumi, Koda Kumi, Tohoshinki, BoA, Otsuka Ai, etc). The artists performing are always different every day. The Tokyo show was held in Ajinomoto stadium.
It was huuuuuuge!
The whole thing lasted for like 6 hours It was more like a festival with LOTS of food stalls, etc, people were walking around and not just sitting still watching the performances.
I watched Otsuka Ai, BoA, Tohoshinki, etc performing, but I didn't stay until Ayumi's performance since it was getting a bit late
Dinner in Yoshinoya, kalbi set with kimchi (550yen).
I had this chicken rice onigiri (105yen) from Lawson (convenience store) on the way to school.
And this strawberry milk with some shredded strawberry flesh (120yen) from some random vending machine in Shibuya station.
After school, our class had a farewell lunch since some of us were leaving
Sukiyaki buffet (1180yen/person)
It's REALLY worth it Unlimited high quality beef, pork, vegetables, rice, various drinks only for that amount of money, and the flavour was awesome too
And then I met up with Rozie; we went to this huge Gundam exhibition in Tokyo Big ight, Odaiba.
This was truly a heaven for Gundam lovers This exhibition (and the huge gundam statue later) was held to celebrate Gundam's 30th anniversary. The original Gundam(?) greeting us in the entrance.
An amazing diorama, the Gundam was as tall as a normal person.
Gundam Wing Zero. Rozie thinks that this doesn't make any sense because of the wings lol
I really like the colouring here, normal drawings that looked 3D. It must be some colonies in some Gundam series.
The original sketches for Gundam Seed Destiny's ending clip.
I think they are planning for some 3D Gundam sometime in the future.
There is a high chance that this will fail, since they will tend to focus on the graphics, forgetting about the storyline
Freedom Gundam (my favourite) from Gundam Seed
Three types of Strike Gundam (Sword, Aile, Launcher).
Kira vs Athrun (Awww how tragic)
The main Gundam from Gundam 00. It looks less grand than the predecessors...
The upcoming Gundam series called Gundam Unicorn (lol? What's with the name) The character design doesn't look too appetising for me
The main Gundam from Gundam Unicorn. At least it's not in some ugly gold/pink colour.
I bought some snacks before heading to the giant Gundam. The mango drink/jelly with aloe vera (200yen) was pretty interesting.
The FAMOUS biiiiiig Gundam in Odaiba It was taken down on the 31st of August At around 6pm, when it started getting dark, there were lights flashing from some parts of it all of a sudden, and the head started moving right left up down. It was pretty cool
I think there was some light show with the Gundam too for a few days, some amazing laser plays. But it would've been too late for us to catch the last train so we didn't go for that
It was quite a festival around the big Gundam (as usual in Japan) with lots of food stalls.
This is essential for summer in Japan. Mango and milk soft cream (350yen)
Then we headed to Saizeriya for dinner.
After that we went to Venus Fort for some shopping
I saw this cute bag.
And this 'Japlish'...
On the way back home, I bought this huge Calpis water (120yen) from a vending machine nearby my house
