Being American and living in Japan ....The land of small thin people ,it's sometimes tough . Recently I was told that my thyroid is getting worse .So unfortunately I seem to be gaining weight and can't lose it because of my thyroid problem . When you speak to someone overweight be careful what you say .They may be struggling with something that prevents them from losing weight .
