MA Nien-hsien did the backing vocals for track #3.Plus all SR members played/arrangement for track #11.It was composed by MA-de-bi-lie...I guess he's MA Nien-hsien.^-^It's not the songs like SR,so maybe you don't find it without credits!

張震嶽「双手挿口袋」MV
伍伯、楊乃文、陳綺貞など魔岩唱片のアーティストがこぞって出演している阿嶽のMVに、ペンギンの格好で出演しております（笑）。眠たそうなメンバーの顔も見られるよ（笑）。阿嶽のアルバム「等我有一天」の日本盤（のタイトルは「僕の未来が来る」）にCD EXTRAで収録。これを見た日本の阿嶽ファンの何人かが、「何？あのペンギンの人～？」と彼等に興味を持ってくれる事を激しく祈る（激笑）。
SR was starred in A-Yue's MV,just wearing penguin clothes!!!Hahaha!!!(So cute!)They look like bit sleepy though.Some more musicians from Magic Stone Records like Wu Bai,Faith Yang and Cheer Chen were also starred in it.Anyway,A-Yue's new album was released here in Japan in January this year(2003) and it(Japanese version CD) includes this MV for bonus.I really hope some of Japanese A-Yue fans are interested in "those penguins"!!!

この映画は音楽の使い方も素敵で、色々な音楽が要所要所で流れたり、登場人物たちが歌っていたりします。馬念先と関連があるのは、
１：パン屋のバイトの少年が持ち込んだラジカセからSRと思われる楽曲が流れている。（星期六晩上你要帯我去那邊の間奏と思われるのですが・・・。）
２：啓盛がコンテストで歌う歌を馬念先がギターを弾き、２人で歌っている。
３：馬念先、パンクっぽい曲を弾き語り。
４：リリーちゃんのダイエットシーンで２回、SRの曲「蒼蠅女郎」（台湾語楽曲）が流れる。
５：啓盛と２人でバースデイソングを歌う。
６：美容室でアソンくんがリーホアさんに髪を洗ってもらっているシーンで、「蒼蠅女郎」のリミックスバージョン（？先述のものとは明らかにミックスが違う）が流れる。

２００３年１月１８日に香港で行われたライブを収録したＤＶＤ。糯米團はFunky People、Tekwando、青春小鳥、巴黎草苺の４曲を演奏。この日のライブはベースの音が非常に悪く、そのせいか全体的な音の調和が取れていないように思う。ベースの音はよく聴こえるのだけど、その音は抜けが悪く、滑りの無いボテボテとしたもので、それは恐らく機材に問題があったのだと推察される。というのも、後続組の阿嶽のFree Nightのベースも伍佰さんとこのChina Blueのベースも音がボテボテだったからねー。ギターの音はギュイーンってめちゃめちゃ絶好調なだけに、より一層悔やまれるところ。例えて言うなら、自分のウチにあるチビアンプにシールド直挿しで出した音みたいなのよ。う～、悔しいなあ。その他は馬念先が青春小鳥でブルースハープを吹いていたのと、巴黎草苺の時にマイクがハウっていたことぐらいかな。←それが特記事項かよ！（笑）

台湾のプロ野球チーム中信鯨隊の応援歌ＣＤの３曲目に「必勝」で参加。ホーンセクションの鳴らす音と、馬念先の歌い方がいつもよりほんのチョット（ホントにホントにチョットだけ・笑）勇ましい感じなのを除けば非常に応援歌っぽくない曲です。だって、やっぱり糯がやるとなんてゆーか、ファンク風味なのですよ。←それは余ちゃんのベースのせいかもしれんが。いや～、しかし、他にもヒップホップ系の曲とかも入っていて、日本の野球応援歌とは随分違いますね。それにしても、地元球団カープの応援歌すら持っていない奴が台湾の球団の応援歌持ってるなんて・・・。（ありえなひ。）
It's a cheer up CD of Taiwanese baseball team called Whales and SR made and played one song "Bisheng" (track #3) for them.Except the sounds of horn section and the MA Nien-hsien's way of singing,it doesn't sound like baseball song.I mean it contains the element of funk music a lot...hmm I guess that's because Yu Kuang-yao's funky bass!Hahaha.Anyway,hip-hop song also is also on that CD,so I thought it's really very different from Japanese baseball songs.By the way,it's pretty weird for me to have CD of taiwanese baseball team,cos I don't even have a CD of my local baseball team here in Hiroshima!

This was recorded live at 10 years anniversary show of Rock Records HK and contains 3 CDs.You know,SR flied to HK just to play only one song at opening the show.Ah,辛苦lah!Anyway,they played the song called "Good Show Medley"(disc1 track #2) in which they introduced the musicians that played on that day.I guess they made the song just clipping the sounds from the songs of those musicians,though I don't know too much about Chinese pop music,so can't figure out the original songs.MA Nien-hsien sang the song in Cantonese,Mandarin and English.

兵役に行ってもタダでは起きない？・・・のかどうかはわかりませんが、軍歌です（笑）。思いっきり両手を振って前進しちゃうよ～んな行進曲、ベタですよう。運動会の吹奏楽隊を思い起こしてしまうな～。一番先頭に長い指揮棒持っている人が行進している様がまざまざと浮かんできちゃうよな～。普通のロックバンドはやらんだろうな～。でも途中でこの兵隊さんたちはディスコに行っちゃうので、テクノサウンドに七変化してしまうあたりのセンスが彼ららしいと思うわけでした。なんか聴いたことあるっぽいようなフレーズなんだけど、誰だか思い出せない。ペット・ショップ・ボーイズかなあ。違うかもしれないけど。あ、因みに歌は糯米合唱団の皆さんでした（笑）。・・・って、そういう感じなんです～。＾－＾
Their military service experience gave them any inspiration???I don't know,but here's army song from SR.They play a march!Haha.Ordinary rock bands never play such a song!I just remembered school marching band on field day!Anyway,The soldiers go to the disco suddenly,so sounds just changed from march to techno...I think this is very Sticky way of writing music.A few phrases are just like the sound I've ever heard,but I don't remember....Pet Shop Boys or something like that,but I don't know..."Move your body",babe!
2:客家歌-心肝怦怦飆飆飆(客家語/Hakka language)
台湾語の歌を面白がって聴いていた私の元に更にマイナー言語客家語歌のおでましだあ～！当然初めて聴いた客家語の歌で、まさに「やられた～！！！」という感じ。台湾語の教材を探すのも結構大変なのに、客家語の教材なんて日本に売ってねえっつーのとまずは思いましたけどね。この曲は客家人の沈ちゃん（ギター）が歌詞を書き、自分で歌っていまして、念先先生程強烈なボーカルスタイルではないけれど、飄々と歌っていて、そこが面白いかな。「中学校にあがり、台北で学び始めた時に自分が話したら皆に笑われて、どこの人間やねんっていうから桃園の客家だ～」みたいな歌詞で、てことは、沈ちゃんの國語はかなり客家語訛りなのでしょうか？聞いてみたい（笑）。（ま、それを判別できるほどの語学力が無い私なのだけどね。・苦笑）
It's first and only Hakka song I've ever heard...Since I began to listen to Taiwanese music,I pay attention to the songs sang in Taiwanese by young musicians.Then here comes Hakka song!Wow,wow,wow...I was kinda surprised and thought,"Hey,we don't have any education kit(text books and/or cds) of Hakka language here in Japan,men!"Hakka prince,CHEN Chi-han wrote the lyric and sang it by himself.His vocal style is not that strong rather than MA Nien-hsien,but his very soft and bit funny singing is attractive.The lyric goes like "When I began to go to junior high shool in Taipei,people laughed at me after I talked.Then they asked me where I came from,so I answered that I'm Hakka from Taoyuan!"So his Mandarin had strong Hakka accent?I really wanna hear his spoken Mandarin!!!^-^
3:廣東歌-黒仔香江中招記(広東語+英語/Cantonese+English)
で、今度は広東語。しーん。やはり何者？バンドだけのことはあるよなー（苦笑）。
Then,next one is Cantonese song...How do they learn Cantonese???So funny!
4:Aluba+Tekwando-現場Live影音實録
２曲のライブテイク。パワー炸裂！なのは結構なのだが、Tekwandoの中盤にジミヘンの「パープル・ヘイズ」のイントロのフレーズをかました挙句に、「ジングルベ～ル、ジングルベ～ル」って歌いだすセンスはどうよ？例の掛け声のう～は～はも増殖しとるやんけ～！謎だ～。けど好きだ（笑）。
2 powerful live takes spread the disease of Woo Ha Ha all over the world!Their live perfprmance is full of energy and they were doing some fun,too.In the middle of Tekwando,they played a phrase of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze",then sang "Jingle Bell"....Hey,men!Really funny and I got a good laugh from the song.!

１曲目に収録されている軍歌のリミックス・バージョンで、ミックスを手掛けているのはドラムの洪峙立。曲を解体してコラージュにしたような感じで、元曲とは印象が随分と違ったものに仕上がっている。重くて暗いトーンの打ち込みに軍歌の切り取られた音片がパラパラとまぶさっている、Nightmareっていうのは当たってるかもな。

ある～ばあ、ありい～ばあ、ある～ばあんだりいばあ～！頭一発目の雄叫びでこのバンドの何者？度が頭の中に焼きつき、しっかりインプットされること請け合いです（苦笑）。怪しいことは怪しいのですが、このパキンパキンなベースの鳴りが凄くカッコイイ！つか、全曲にわたってここのベーシストの余ちゃんの音は好みだ～。（昔からベーシスト狂いなので・・・。）
Intro screamin' blows your head!"A-lu-ba" disease corrupts your body little by little...and sticky addiction must go on!What a scary band they are!!!^-^Anyway,I love the bass sound very much,not only this song but whole album!

念先先生の怪しい歌い方に台湾語の不思議な響きが絡まって、ますます怪しい一曲。
It sounds so funny!I guess that's because of MA Nien-hsien's weird way of singing and unique sound of Taiwanese.
3:funky people(英語/English)
ファンキーな一曲。この曲はギター、ベース、ドラムとそれぞれの楽器の鳴り方が私的には非常にツボにはまるな～。歌詞には彼らが好きだと思われる昔のソウル、ファンク、ディスコ系のミュージシャンの名前がずらずらと並んでいて興味深い。
This one is very funky and the sound of each instruments is groovy.I got into it a lot.You can find a lot of old soul/funk/disco musicians' names in the lyric,I guess they're SR's fave musicians.Just imagine all the people dancing on the rainbow...yeah,that would be wonderful.

この曲は・・・MTVのおかげでお笑い少林寺な印象しかないぞ～（笑）。何となく、な～んま～んだ～な感じがとってもお経ちっくだし、「う～、は～は～は～」の掛け声に至っては、モー娘。同様ジンギスカンの功罪かってなもんで。お経ディスコ？？？笑えます、はい。

あ、この曲もまともだ（苦笑）。というか、今まで散々おちゃらけをかましまくっていた人達と同一バンドとは思えないくらいに泣けるメロディーなんだな。ドラムの洪ちゃんが打ち込みをやっていて、そこに真ん中辺りのいいところで泣きのギターが絡むというニクイ構成。しみじみしてしまうねえ。

この曲が爽やかに聴こえるのは、ひとえに陳珊（女尼）のバッキングコーラスのおかげだと思うのですが・・・。念先先生の歌う台湾語の歌は、やはり不思議な響き。
Because of the backing chorus by Sandee Chan,it sounds so fresh!^-^Nien-hsien's Taiwanese song sounds really interesting as track #2.I guess this song includes the elements of Bosa Nova or somethins like that.

ドラムの洪峙立作曲のテクノポップなインスト。打ち込みも彼が手掛けているのでしょうか？（クレジット無し。）まるで大きな水槽にプカプカと浮かんでいるかのような浮遊感がかなり心地良い。こんな形で余韻を残して終わるなんて、小憎らしいさね（笑）。因みに、電気グルーブのように、もう一度このアルバムを聴きたい人はCDを割ってもう一枚買え、なんていうナレーションはありませんでした（苦笑）。
