The considerations I wrote in WN29 about the relationship between waltz and string instrument ranges apply equally to this new waltz. Moreover, the highest note on the right hand of this waltz is played at the same height as the highest note F on the viola, and the strong dynamics are noted there.
Parts written in the lowest register of the right hand never leave the viola's range.
