The nearest station to my apartment doesnt have an escalator, so I had to carry my heavy suit case which was 15 kg.....

Then I transfered from JR line to Keisei line at Nippori station. I knew there was an escalator at the back of the platform, so I went there, but it said " this escalator is going to South exit where you cant transfer to Keisei line."

Are you kidding?

Those who transfer to Keisei line carry suit cases like me because they are going to the airport, and there is no escalator available? Damn....

Then I carried it up to Keisei line entrance and waited for Skyliner. When it was time to go down to the platform, a guy was standing in front of the down escalator and said "sorry this is under inspection now, please use the stairs to go down."

ARE YOU KILLING ME?

Why do you guys do the inspection when it's Skyliner's departure time? Those who get on it are going to the airport for sure and carrying suit cases. Are you guys stupid?

Well, I hope an elevator doesnt hate me like escalators......

I'm leaving tomorrow!!!!!!!! キャーq(≧∇≦*)(*≧∇≦)pキャー

I'm not sure how often this blog will be updated during my trip because I need to spend as much time as possible with my honey(*--)--*)ピトッ

Oh, god.... I'm so excited!!

Honey, I'll be there soon!!

Well, I got an email from my agency. It said they have been trying to put me in the convension business in the States, but there are not many companies which have paid intern positions available. Usually those positions are non-paid.

But they finally succeeded to contact a personnel of a hotel in LA, which is a really famous hotel. If you hear the name, you know it. ( sorry I cant tell you now, though)

The available position is, however, a receptionist. I dont think this position is related to my current career. Now my agency is trying to get a position related to events and conventions in this hotel, which is like catering or something.

I used to want to work in a hospitality industry. That was my dream. That's why I went to Canada to study English and hospitality because Canada is a really advanced country in this industry, but now that I deal with hotels on business, I know it is really tough and I might not be suited to work in a hotel.

Anyway, this is an oppotunity, so I told my agency I'm going to LA from 22, so if the personnel is available and can spare time for me even like 10 min., I would like to meet her. My agency said they will try to catch her but it is the busiest season of this industry, so not sure.

Actually, the personnel will take vacation from 22 to 26, and she can meet me on 27. I said it's fine by me. Oh, my god! This is gonna be my first interview?!

I lilke this hotel for one reason. It is located really close to the law school that my BF will apply for and wanna go to the most. If I get a job here and he is accepted by the school, we can live together!

I dont know what will happen. We'll see......

I talked to my BF today at the frisbee field and asked him how long we will stay at his brother's place in San Jose during my trip. He said he hadnt called him. I wondered why.

He said he had a holiday lunch with his coworkers, and played a raffle.

Guess what.

He won Disneyland free tickets!!!!

Disney resort in CA consists of two parks, which are Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

He said we can go to both parks! so we will stay in a hotel nearby and spend two days at Disneyland Resort in California!!!

Amaizing! I love you so much honey!! ( ̄3 ̄)むっちゅううううう

This is in LUMINE, Yokohama.

Me and my mon had dinner together there yesterday.

Even though this is one of restaurants in a department store, the atmosphere is good, the inside is little bit dark. The interior reminds me of Vietnam.

We had an appetizer plate, fried shrinp and squid with vegetables and mashrooms and rice noodle with chicken. Tasted really good, not too salty nor too oily. Asian food is really healthy compared to western food. When you eat western food untill you feel too full, you will gain weight next day for sure and it sits heavy on your stomach, but even though you eat Asian food untill you feel too full, you are fine because it's much healthier than western one and wont sit on your stomach for long time.

If you go to Yokohama, give it a try, but if it is at Saturday night, you have to wait for a while in line.

Here's the webpage.

I went shopping in Yokohama with my mom.

Landmark Plaza

I was looking for a black suit but couldnt find good one, so bought this instead.

J.CREW

This is from J.CREW.

Various colors are available, like black, brown, beige, green and purple. I tried most of them and green matched me most.

Oh, my mon bought me this as a Christmas present!

Earrings

This is a pair of Swarobski earrings. I really like these pearls. Little bit pinkish.

Oh, I also found a really beautiful wedding dress . This is my ideal one!

But the most surprising thing today was "Magic of Cosmetics".

My mom wanted to buy a new foundation, so we went to ESTEE LAUDER.
She sat at the counter and a staff applied make-up on her.

First, took off her make-up.
Next, applied many kinds of lotions and creams. These actually had effects on her face. These brightened her face color.
Then, applied a foundation.

OH, WOW!

It really made her face and skin look much much better! She looked much younger than before.

It was such a transformation!

I should have taken pictures of "BEFORE AND AFTER".

I had never believed cosmetic company's advertisement which is as if their products can change our skin taxture so dramatically,

but now I believe it because I saw it!!

Buying these products costs astronomically, though....

This okonomiyaki restaurant was aired on " King's Brunch", TBS. Since then, I had wanted to go there, so I asked my friend to have dinner together here.

This restaurant is located at Hiro-o. There are other okonomiyaki restaurants along the street.

I called to make a reservation in advance, but it was already full. When we got there tonight, all tables were taken, so we sat along a counter.

We ordered "Noro-yaki with white radish sprouts" and "Fluffy Tonpei with yam and cheese".

のろ焼きかいわれ

ふんわり山芋たっぷりとんぺい

These were so yummy! (^¬^) Even though these contains mayonnaise and cheese, they didnt taste so heavy nor too rich.

We ordered another one called " Hiroshima-goe Yamaguchi-hu (広島越え山口風)".

広島越え山口風

This has noodles in it, so filled our stomach too much..... We were too stuffed..but delicious!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is also good. It's unlike an okonomiyaki restaurant. Very settled. Good for casual date, too.

After dinner, we walked to Roppongi hills. On the way there, we found a bakery and went in. Its name is "Boulangerie Burdigala Hiroo". I havent tasted a bread I bought there yet, so I'll write a report soon.

Then, we got to Roppongi hills. Christmas illumination was very beautiful. Take a look.

けやき通り

六本木ヒルズ

This color's illumination is now really popular, I mean blue and white. I like white and gold combination, too.

We wanted to try Coldstone icecream, but there was a long line outside.... Also, there are tables only outside.... We didnt want to eat icecream outside in this cold.....

So we went to Starbucks as always. In the States, in this season, Starbacks has a seasonal speciality called "Egg nog latte", but not here in Japan. If you happen to go to the States in this season, give it a try. It's really sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!

Ah, I'm so full still now. ε= o(´~`;)o タベスギー
I have to lose weight before I go to the States.....

I made lunch today★

The contents are Chicken rice, Baked potatos, and Japanese style rolled egg wth broth(←なんていうのかな、だし巻き卵です). I usually eat out, but just felt like making it.

I live by myself now and cook just for myself, but when my BF came over and stayed with me, I thought it was really good to cook for someone. Cooking wasnt a chore anymore. It was a delightful time. I would like to make lunch for him if we live together( prob not everyday, though...)

***********************

Yesterday ( precisely today because it was 1 am), he suddenly called me from work. I was surprised because it was about 8 in the morning over there. He said he started work before 6 that day! It is insane! I thought he became workaholic, but he said the computer parts he ordered on line was being delivered to home at 2 or 3 in the afternoon, so he wanna leave early.

Also, yesterday when I called him at lunch time here, he said sometimes he has to get to work by 6 to have an online meeting with people working all over the world, like people in Dallas, Japan, and somewhere in Europe. So it is kind of a compromise so that they can have a meeting online at the same time. Maybe LA at 6 am, Dallas at 9 am, Japan at 11:00 pm and Europe at...I dont know. Dealing with international matters is very tough sometimes......

Well, the reason he called me was because I asked a question for him.

When I was reading messages on a BBS of Ultimate team, one guy said, " I got dibbs on a couch." I didnt know its meaning, so I asked him. It made him call me from work. I didnt push him to do so, though.

It means he was claiming to use a couch first. So you change "a couch" to anything, like " I get dibbs on a TV." etc. This is a real Engligh lesson, dont you think?

I'll be there in 6 days, honey!

Yesterday, I got an email from one of Ulti players. He asked me out if I have spare time after work.

Most of them in the team knows I have a BF in the States and he knows that, too. He is kind of desperate to have a Japanese girlfriend, so he asks our telephone numbers, almost all Japanese girls when they come to the field first time. We call him "a telephone number collecter".

Anyway, he asked my number the first time when I went to the field and emailed me several times, but I didnt show any interest in him, so he stopped emailing me long time ago. Then he started it again. Here's why...

**************************

As I said on the former article , we played cards at Starbucks. There were J1(American), J2(American), K(this is him, Canadian), S(Japanese girl) and me. Before we re-started playing cards there, we talked a bit and they asked me about my BF for some reason. I forgot why we started this topic, though. I've known J1 and K since March. J2 and S are fairly new to the team.

I think J1 was the topic-starter.

J1: " I still cant believe your BF gave you that engraved ipod!!" (←my BF gave me an ipod with his message engraved on. I showed it to J1 before. )

Me:( ̄ー ̄)ニヤリ

J1: " will you marry soon? You guys have been together for how long? more than 2 years in long distance relationship? "

Me: (〃∇〃)

J1:" I cant do that, keeping long distance relationship that long. Why havent you had a local BF? "

Me: I might have had one or might have one in the future if there's someone who can give me a Cartier ring or something."

J1:" Oh my god! So if there's someone richer than your current BF, will you have a new BF?

Me: " Of course. I'm always looking for someone or something better and better. "

J1: " You can be bought?!"

Me:( ̄3 ̄)~♪

J2 and K were involved in this conversation, but mostly J1 was asking questions to me. S is not so fluent, so she was just listening.

I thought everyone understood I was just joking. At least, J1, J2 and S knew it was a joke.

But K......he might have taken it at face value and thought I'm still looking for a new and better BF.

LIKE HELL I AM! (`m´#)

So, I emailed him and said, " Sorry I'm busy till Feb." ( I didnt say I'm busy always because it doesnt ring true, right? till Feb. sounds more real. )

He said " I thought you said you are not busy recently..."

Oops. ( ;; ̄3 ̄) サッサア?

I cant remember saying that....

Well, you should ask out someone else, K!!
