The laptop rumor mill’s been spinning ever since Dell set up a teaser website for a new laptop computer apparently called Adamo. Supposedly Dells competition for Apple’s MacBook Air, the super sleek laptop with battery like Dell Studio 1450 battery , Dell Studio 1458 battery , Dell 312-4009 battery , Dell Vostro 1310 battery , Dell Vostro 1520 battery , Dell T116C battery , Dell Latitude Z600 battery , Dell 312-0929 battery , Dell Y596M battery , Dell Latitude E6400 battery , Dell Precision M6500 battery , Dell PT653 battery will be released as the world’s thinnest laptop.
While complete details of the super thin Adamo product range are not yet out, it is rumored to be a feature-rich laptop. Apparently bundled with great design and performance capabilities, Dell’s Adamo is expected to adorn a neat metallic-black and silver casing.
Earlier this month, there were rumors all over the place about two new premium versions of Dell’s Studio range of laptops. Classified as the new Studio XPS laptops, the new machines will apparently sport a split leather/metallic casing, a slot-loading optical drive, edge-to-edge glass screen, a backlit keyboard and horizontal ports including two USB 2.0 slots, eSATA, DisplayPort and HDMI. The laptops should be released in 13” and 15” glossy screen versions.
The Dell Adamo is expected to launch around February 2009. The price is a mystery.
